Bistro Lotte renovation team win award for ‘Best Conversion’.

Bistro Lotte are incredibly proud of our beautiful Edwardian town house building which was lovingly restored during 2017. 

The company behind the renovation, Frome-based construction business, Apex House Frome Ltd, has now been given recognition in two categories at the Somerset Building Control Partnership award ceremony.   Their outstanding work on the conversion of the former Autocare on Catherine Street into the French restaurant and guest house, Bistro Lotte has been recognised and awarded.

Director, Aran Whelan and Executive, Jane Maryon were presented the award at a ceremony held on Friday 31st January 2019 at the Somerset Museum in Taunton. Apex House also received a High Commendation, for Best Small Commercial Project.

As a result of Friday’s win, Apex House and Bistro Lotte have now been put forward for the LABC (Local Authority Building Control) Building Excellence Awards. 

Bistro Lotte Business Expanding in 2019

Bistro Lotte, which recently celebrated its first year in business, has been a roaring success from its opening on 1st February 2018.  Lotty Evans, Owner and Manager is now excited to announce that the business is expanding for 2019.  Working once more with Apex House, they have embarked on a further development with the renovation of 6a Badcox, just around the corner from Bistro Lotte. A wine bar with family guest rooms above will be opening later this year offering the same unique blend of great hospitality, relaxed ambience a touch of French elegance and charm.
